Please keep these dates in mind:

• March 2: Information will be sent with details about your new account. If you haven't received this letter by March 7, please call us at 1-800-717-9833 and a Banking Specialist will provide you with your Discover Bank Account Number. You may view and print the Account Agreement and Privacy Policy online in PDF format.
• March 7: Your account transitions to Discover Bank. E*TRADE pays interest on your funds through March 5; Discover Bank starts paying interest on March 6.
• March 7: You can begin registering for the online Discover Bank Account Center.
  1. Click here to register now.
  2. Enter the required information.
  3. Create a new User ID and Password.
  4. Review the terms and conditions, and complete the registration process.
• March 31: Your first Discover Online Savings Account statement will be available online.
  A paper statement will also be sent.
• May 7: The last day you can provide W-9 tax certification to avoid backup withholding.
  You can provide W-9 certification by registering to the Account Center.
